First impressions of Adobe AIR for Linux

Will Adobe AIR bring more applications to Linux? Or will it make the situation worse because of software that isn't released as native Linux software but instead as AIR application that runs as bad as fullscreen Flash video.

I tested AIR on Ubuntu and wrote down my first impressions.
