Fixing Linux, Part Two: Bridging the Gap

In my last blog post, I discussed a few issues I see with Linux as an operating system (as opposed to the higher-level stuff; eventually I'll put a few words into that, but right now I'm still running with an interesting idea drawn out of a question from a friend of mine: "how do you fix Linux?" In this article, I explore where we can start.
