How can you help people to start using linux?

I’ve been trying to “convert” friends and basically all people I talk with to use Linux instead of (this is in general, I have one or two mac friends) Micro$oft Windows.

I’ve noticed that it’s not that easy to make them switch and I’ll try and deal with why that is in this post.

I’ll also give some tips on how to convert one or more users to Linux
