If K-12 goes paperless, every kid can get a Linux Netbook

By going paperless, the savings can allow for each kid to have a Linux netbook for free. I doubt if we'll see schools adopt Linux, open source and the concept of a computer for every kid anytime soon.

There are long-standing prejudicial attitudes among school administrators, especially when it comes to Apple.
