AKVIS has unveiled ArtWork 1.0 , a program that applies oil painting techniques to digital images.

Wolfire Games has released a new set of screenshots from Overgrowth , a world of anthropomorphic rabbits and wolves who use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle.

At first I was greeted with the Beta artwork, which I found slightly disappointing, as have others before me.

A massive update (over 400 MB) changed some things though. The NewHuman theme has been renamed DarkRoom, but I don’t really see other changes, apart from the name.

GNOME 3.0 should have visual refresh. Such a major release without any or little changes could disappoint users.

No radical UI concept change, but incremental refinements around the desktop of things that have proved to work and dropping or improving/dropping things that don't

Fedora 10 will feature two new desktop environments: Sugar and LXDE. Finally, there is First Aid Kit. The plan for this feature is to create an easy way of using common recovery methods to rescue a messed up system.

Between these and the artwork, I think Fedora 10 will be a good release.
