Automation computer runs fanless Core 2 Duo

Axiomtek announced a fanless, aluminum-cased embedded computer that targets industrial automation, DVR (digital video recorder), and digital signage applications.

The eBOX830-831-FL runs Linux, while offering dual gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB ports, four COM ports, and two IEEE 1394a ports, says Axiomtek.


 

EPIC SBC targets graphics-intensive display apps

Axiomtek is shipping an EPIC format single-board computer (SBC) for digital signage, digital video recorder (DVR), point-of-sale (POS), and gaming applications.

The Linux-compatible EP840 supports Intel's 45-nm Core 2 Duo ("Penryn") processors and is equipped with a Mobile Intel GME965 chipset, says Axiomtek.


 

Atom squeezes onto Pico-ITX board

Axiomtek has announced what it says is the world's first pico-ITX SBC (single board computer) packing Intel's Atom processor.

The PICO820 offers 1.1GHz or 1.6GHz Z5xx CPUs, gigabit Ethernet, a SATA port, a VGA port, and headers for four serial ports, the company says.

The Panel2170-831 includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, 17-inch touchscreen display, dual gigabit Ethernet ports, two 1394a ports, and PCI expansion.
