At any one time I have at least three computers. A laptop, a netbook and at least one desktop machine. Which sounds cool but keeping data in sync between three machines is a logistical nightmare.

There’s only so far a flash drive can go to solving the problem.I’ve been using Dropbox for a while now and it is very likely the best too...

Microsoft video shows PHP/Perl/Apache installation in Ubuntu

You heard that right, Microsoft produced an informative video of how to install PHP, Apache, and Perl on Ubuntu and having them up on running on a desktop machine.

This is apparently in an attempt to show how difficult Linux is to use as part of their Get The Facts campaign, but it seems to be pretty easy to me.
