Digg Linux/Unix upcoming  Mon, 11/03/2008 - 17:35

Install ATI and Nvidia drivers in Ubuntu (the painless way)

Digg Linux/Unix upcoming  Fri, 09/26/2008 - 01:36

Ubuntu users head straight out to forums when looking for drivers. Its a real pain really. But there is an easier route (if you are Nvidia and ATI graphics users).

Rhythmbox, Gnome Music Awesomeness

Linux Today  Mon, 09/22/2008 - 20:32

Free Software Magazine: "Amarok sure inspires a lot of KDE-envy for Gnome users. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit in well in Gnome: it’s written for a different desktop environment, uses a whole different toolkit, and requires a lot of extra libraries to run.

Luckily, there’s a great Gnome-based alternative: Rhythmbox."

Mark Shuttleworth gets some serious iMac envy

Digg Linux/Unix upcoming  Thu, 07/24/2008 - 12:31

Apple have Jonathan Ive. Who does HP have?

Topix - Linux  Sat, 07/19/2008 - 05:06

Curved edges are the suck, and even more so tapered notebooks. And WHAT red letters and image on a black background?

Let us put it this way: if the Envy 133 is ugly, then Ive has never created anything ...
