Fedora. Fedora Core or also called as Fedora Linux is a Linux Distro with RPM and Yum base is developed by Fedora project.

Smolt is a opt-in hardware profiler developed by Fedora Project and now adopted by OpenSUSE and in consideration by Ubuntu as well.

As a member of the Fedora Project Board, I have the pleasure of coordinating the first set of Fedora-wide combined elections.  Previously each Fedora group ran their elections at different times and intentionally did not overlap.  This time we have the voting software in place, thanks to Nigel Jones,  to allow multiple elections in parallel.  We hope this will increase voter turnout and decrease voter burnout.
