First off OMG! A non-employment related post!!!!1!1one!!oh-en-ee!!! right? where was i? Ah, yes, so regular readers of this blog may note, i have strong feelings toward Apple.

I visit Planet Debian several times a day. Lately there’s been a lot of chatter about Debian politics I have no clue about, but most of the time I’m thinking stuff like “that’s awesome”, “I can relate”, “wow”, and similar feelings.

As a Debian developer I have on occasion felt a bit out of touch with doing things with Debian and out of touch with other users.

Partially as a result of those feelings and partially because I thought it would be an interesting thing to do, I started to prepare a couple of simple surveys early this year.
