Obviously, Microsoft has a significant interest in making sure that users of the new breed of netbooks and MIDs hitting the market don’t get too comfortable using Linux.

Many manufacturers have taken to installing various flavors of Linux on these devices to minimize footprint, improve performance, reduce costs on low-power & low-margin hardware.

Anyone that has been around here reading this blog before will remember that I had migrated from WinXP to various flavors of Linux in an attempt to settle in with an OS (operating system) that would work well with my design work and general duties such as pictures, videos, image editing, graphic creation and site work
