How's that for innovation? 38 years later and we still have sucky printer drivers..."

I support Linux and the free software movement. I appreciate all the hard work that the community has put into free software.

However, we need a solid base of what Linux is. Every distribution their own package management, file system structure, and set of tools that is different.

The new lesson is that the freedom belongs to the software, not to users. You are not free to do whatever you want with the open source software and may find yourself in a legal fight if what you do restricts the freedom of the software.
