There are many talks about what soft to use, what soft is more lightweight, QT or Gtk…In this post I will tell you what soft I use and why do I use it.This post is not an advice what soft you must use, it’s just my talks, but maybe you will find here something interesting….

I hope someone will create a native Mac theme for GTK They did, but Apple threatened them, and it was removed from popular theme sites, but I'm sure you can still find it.

Over the past month we have made some major progress on the BSD port of Bordeaux. Bordeaux for FreeBSD now has a .sh installer, the same one that we use on Linux, so you will need to have py-gtk installed for the installer to work properly.

We also have a newly built .pbi for PC-BSD 7 as well.

The Register: "De Icaza, leading the Mono and Moonlight cross-platform .NET projects at Novell, has warned a "new crop" of developers pushing plans for Gtk+ 3 risk "throwing away years of work" on Gtk+.

They're also failing to recognize the value of having an ISV ecosystem working to put Gnome on Linux. Gtk+ is the tool set for building the Gnome graphical user interface, with version three the next planned major update."
