The AAF team has released a new Enigma2 Image for the Linux based Kathrein UFS 910 HD satellite receiver.

They have modified the TDT Enigma2 rev439 release to version 4.0. Some bugs fixed, a new skin & several menu options added.

More details are known of the latest Kathrein Linux based HD satellite receiver, the UFS 922. This tuner will contain 2 DVB-S2 tuners, so you can record a tv channel, while your watching another channel.

A manual is already online on the Kathrein site, although the UFS 922 is not available yet.

In a few days time a new Enigma2 Image is released for the Linux based Kathrein UFS 910 HD satellite receiver.

This time AAF modified this Image, with some nice additions, like a Softcam Menu.

The latest TDT Enigma 2 Image for the Linux based Kathrein UFS 910 HD satellite receiver is released, version 317. KF modified this Image & now it's also possible to run the MBox softcam.

Last year on September the 17th a spin-off of HDTV Info Europe launched the 1st site totally dedicated to the 1st Linux based HD satellite receiver; the Kathrein UFS 910.

In just one year time the Kathrein UFS 910 became a fully HDTV capable satellite receiver with many goodies known from the 1st successfull Linux satellite receiver, the Dreambox.

Kathrein will release a new HDTV capable Satellite Receiver, also running on Linux. The Kathrein UFS 922 will be the 1st twin HD satellite receiver from this company.

The UFS 922 will feature a twin DVB-S2 tuner & a 500 GB HDD. Also this box should play multimedia files, straightwaway from the HDD.

A new plugin has been released for the Linux based Kathrein UFS 910 HD satellite receiver; SoftUSB 1.1.

With SoftUSB it's possible to mount a filesystem from external usb storage. SoftUSB has several advantages; any USB socket can be used & you can plug any number of other storage-devices at the same time.
