I googled for 20 minutes looking for a good explanation of how to install VMWare Tools on my Centos 5.2 guest operating system.

I'm using ESXi 3.5 (the free version of the bare-metal hypervisor) on several systems and was knocking my head against the wall on how to actually get it done.
