Intel's Dirk Hohndel, director of Linux and open-source strategy, will formally unveil Moblin 2.0 at the Intel Developer Forum, set for Aug. 19-21 in San Francisco.

The event will also feature "over 170 hours" of technical training on MIDs, nettops, netbooks, embedded computing, and consumer electronics, Intel says.
