Use MobileMe push on iPhone with alternate From address

MacOSXHints.com  Thu, 07/24/2008 - 09:30

This hint is for those who have a primary email address, say a@default.com, and would like to use this email address, but would like the 'push' aspects of their MobileMe account, say a@me.com.

It would be useful to be able to send email from a MobileMe account, but have a@default.com show up by default as the From address.

This hint is similar tothis previously-posted hint, in that one can set their primary email address to forward a copy to their MobileMe account.

10.5: Change the Apple Mail To Do mailbox name

MacOSXHints.com  Thu, 04/03/2008 - 09:30

Mail.app in Leopard creates an IMAP folder for its To Do list and by default calls it "Apple Mail To Do." It's hidden when looking at the IMAP box in Mail, but it's not hidden on the iPhone.

I would rather not have it at the top of the list on the iPhone, so changed its name.
