Dstat is a versatile replacement for vmstat, iostat, netstat, nfsstat and ifstat. Dstat overcomes some of their limitations and adds some extra features, more counters and flexibility.

Dstat is handy for monitoring systems during performance tuning tests, benchmarks or troubleshooting.
