Kathrein has released their new 1.06 firmware for their Linux based HDTV satellite-receiver; the UFS 910. This firmware contains some (HDMI) fixes & new features, like Russian language & network parameter settings.

Kathrein will release a new HDTV capable Satellite Receiver, also running on Linux. The Kathrein UFS 922 will be the 1st twin HD satellite receiver from this company.

The UFS 922 will feature a twin DVB-S2 tuner & a 500 GB HDD. Also this box should play multimedia files, straightwaway from the HDD.

Dutch team Picmod have released their 2nd Image for the Linux based Kathrein UFS 910 HDTV Satellite Receiver.

This Image is based on the original 1.05 Image from Kathrein. Features: Samba, Ipkg install (webif), Ip config selectable by red button, Keyupdater & Crontab.

The AAF have released their long awaited 1.5 Firmware Image for the Linux based UFS 910 HD-Satellite receiver, based on the original Kathrein 1.05 firmware.

This image now supports 7 languages. Selectable by the OSD menu.

The AAF team gave use a nice Easter present with their latest 1.4a Image for the Linux based HDTV satellite receiver; the Kathrein UFS 910.
