One Laptop per Child's hugely Give 1 Get 1 program (a $399 donation paid a laptop for a child in a developing nation and got you a green XO laptop yourself) which sold ten-thousands of laptops at the end of 2007 is set for November comeback.

And since OLPC has teamed up with Amazon we can hope that things work smoothly this time. /me wants one!

I visited the "Kids Playground" at the IFA electronics show in Berlin, and found that the kids seemed to love the eee PC--and were completely disinterested in the One Laptop Per Child machine.
