Should Linux migration be something that linux users want?

response to the digg article "How Windows Users Are Changing Linux" looks at the average user. They want things simple and that means standardization so that software is easy to install and "just works". the real questions is, will that corrupt Linux or make it better?

Do we really want widespread Linux adoption?
