The Linux Foundation has announced that it will be organizing the new "LinuxCon" conference in Portland, Oregon in September, 2009; it will be co-located with the Linux Plumbers Conference.
"LinuxCon will include paper-based technical conference sessions, tutorials, keynotes, a technology showcase and targeted mini-summits on topics such as mobile, desktop and embedded, and much more.
