That could be the beginning of a seismic shift for smartphone software. It opens the door for open-source operating systems to jump onto devices not built specifically for them.

In this second part, I’m going to list the Enterprise-class Free and Open Source Operating Systems which have similar characteristics.

Unlike the previous list, not all of the OSes listed here are Linux-based — some of these are UNIX systems.
