WordPress has fixed a cross-site scripting flaw in its blogging software. Version 2.6.5 also addresses three unrelated performance and stability bugs with the open source package.

LyX is a free and open source package which puts a user-friendly skin over LaTeX such that the user can see an interface much like MS Word or OpenOffice which is based on LaTeX.

The binaries are available for Linux, Windows, and Mac.
