Tiny $75 SBC gains baseboard

Chennai, India-based E-con Systems announced a baseboard for its SODIMM-sized, Marvell PXA270-based processor module.

The baseboard adds an LCD touchscreen, USB, serial ports, SDIO slot, and camera interfaces to the company's Linux-ready eSOM270 module, available in volume for about $75.

Aewin announced an "embedded box computer" targeting kiosk, vehicle, and industrial applications. The SEM-7705 supports fanless operation with Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, or Celeron processors, has four serial ports and dual gigabit Ethernet ports, and can employ CompactFlash or hard disk storage, says Aewin.

Arbor Technology announced a fanless panel PC for HMI (human-machine interface) and automation applications.

The TO660 runs Linux on an AMD LX900 CPU, and has a 5.7-inch touchscreen, 1GB system memory, Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, three serial ports, a CompactFlash socket, and back-panel PC/104 expansion.

Atom squeezes onto Pico-ITX board

Axiomtek has announced what it says is the world's first pico-ITX SBC (single board computer) packing Intel's Atom processor.

The PICO820 offers 1.1GHz or 1.6GHz Z5xx CPUs, gigabit Ethernet, a SATA port, a VGA port, and headers for four serial ports, the company says.

Portwell has announced a mini-ITX board employing Intel's recently announced 2.54GHz Core 2 Duo T9400 processor.

The "WADE-8067" has four SATA ports, two serial ports, plus two gigabit Ethernet ports, supports up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, and includes a PCI Express expansion slot, says Portwell.

Moxa has introduced a 1U rackmount data acquisition computer with 16 serial ports and four 10/100 Ethernet ports, all on RJ-45 jacks.

The DA-662-I runs Linux on Intel's ARM-based IXP425 processor, with HTTP, telnet, and FTP servers, and PCMCIA, CompactFlash, and USB expansion.
