Novell offers RHEL, CentOS support

Novell has launched a "competitive replacement" program aimed at luring Red Hat and CentOS users to its SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) product.

Through the program, Novell will support customers' RHEL or CentOS servers for up to two years, while the customer migrates to SLES.

Novell and Red Hat announced upgrades of their Linux-based enterprise distros, featuring improved virtualization and hardware support.

I really like the fact that Novell is hanging in there. Incorporating Linux was a very smart move on their part.

I would really like to see Novell make a massive comeback. I am downloading the OS DVD to give them another try.

Can't wait to see their take on LINUX.
