If you've ever forgotten your password, you aren't alone… it's probably one of the most common tech support problems I've encountered over the years.

Luckily if you are using Ubuntu they made it incredibly easy to reset your password.

Considering my background, it's not at all hard to understand how I've become the tech support helpdesk for family, friends and the neighborhood as a whole.

Because of Linux I hardly have to lift a finger anymore, and because of it my health is suffering. I rarely hop up and down in a fit of temper, I don't have to drive to the store to buy software, and I don't get the aerobic benefits of spending hours on the phone with tech support, breathing hard and accelerating my heartbeat.

I am a freelance writer working from home starting to get cabin fever. Having recently arrived in Melbourne, Australia, I mostly work for my old contacts in Spain.

Apparently you will be able to buy ubuntu packaged with a manual and tech support at best buy for 20 dollars.
