Linux users keep on criticizing Windows about how crappy the os is. We keep on hearing how Linux worked on rj45 sized device, booted on 2 seconds blah, blah.

Some people migrated to Linux not just because of viruses, but were furious why their pcs bought in 2006 did not work with vista.

In the most part, Linux is engineered in a fashion that makes it hard for viruses to run. Also, because more PCs currently run Windows, it is more worthwhile writing viruses for the Windows platform.
