"SUMIT" aims to unify SBC expansion

A fledgling industry standards body has unveiled a stackable, board-to-board expansion interface aimed at unifying I/O cards across many single-board computer (SBC) form factors.

The Small Form-Factor Special Interest Group (SFF-SIG) calls its Stackable Unified Module Interconnect Technology (SUMIT) "the biggest advancement since PC/104."
